The Institute of Social Work of Nigeria (ISOWN) is the professional institute established for training and certification of Social work Professionals in Nigeria, duly registered and approved by the Office of Attorney General of the Federation as a legal professional Institution under CAP 59 of 1990 and Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria for the purpose of training and certification in core social work practice disciplines. Some of the approved mandates include; membership registration, training (Academic, Continuous Development and Seminars), research, consulting, publications among others.
