[WASSCE For Mathematics] This course will help you understand the main concepts involved in the construction and loci sections of the WASSCE core Maths exam. It will explain what a locus is, how to bisect and angle, how bisect a line and how to combine this knowledge to construct triangles and quadrilaterals.
Topics covered include: Bisector of angles, Bisector of a line, Angles of 90, 60, etc, Points at a given distance from a given point, Points equidistant from two given points, Points at a given distance from two straight lines, Construction of triangles and quadrilaterals. To be able to do this course, you must have a working knowledge of angles, triangles and quadrilaterals as it is assumed that you have already encountered these topics earlier on. You must also be confident in using a mathematical set. Also, always have a sharp pencil and an eraser to hand.
