This course is the first Module of the four modular course Fundamentals of Microsoft Excel. This first module is designed to give foundational background on the basics of Excel which will pave way to fully harness the versatility of Excel. It is therefore suitable for both beginners and experienced users as it will expose learner to new discoveries. Learning the basics of Excel is essential if you want a firm foundation for advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel. Cells are the smallest building blocks of spreadsheets and, understanding their properties will give the learner an edge to apply smart techniques to improve productivity by over 200%! This module is a 2 - 4 hours course with hands-on demonstration of smart ways of doing routine Excel tasks. Learner would understand how to view multiple workbooks and spreadsheets at the same time, splitting screens for enhanced viewing and freezing panes etc. Printing Excel documents sometimes presents challenges as paper and ink wastages often occur. This module explains Page Layout in a very simplified way that you wished you knew earlier.
